A special thanks to Becky Backstabber, Alex Axem-Borden, Miranda Bendjerneck, Aidan Diddindoit, Meghan Stabsalot, Megan Murdersome, P. Olivia Place, Hannah Iwarndu, Amy Bonebreaker, and off course Ima Knowitall. It was a very fun night that I'm sure we will repeat.

First Wii Tournament

Thank you to everyone who attended our first Wii Tournament. Matthew S. was our ultimate winner of Wii Sports. Next week the featured game will be The Legend of Zelda. Everyone is welcome, but participants under 16 must have a signed permission slip.

The Smashing Pumpkins are Back:)

After more than seven years, the Pumpkins have now come out with an album of new work. Zeitgeist, released July 10th, is receiving mixed reviews. Most reviewers have recommended it, with the side note that it is not their strongest work. Only time will tell if this is a new beginning for the band, or just the final hoorah.

Donation

A special thanks to One Way Construction of Highland, NY for their very generous donation to the library. We will be able to purchase $700 worth of Manga/Graphic Novels and Teen books. In addition, funds were donated to help with the summer reading program and other collections throughout the library. Thank you for your continued support.
