See-through Frogs?!
Is dissection in biology class a thing of the past? Well scientists in Japan have just moved us one step closer. Masayuki Sumida, professor at the Institute for Amphibian Biology of state-run Hiroshima University has produced a frog with see-through skin. Now researchers can see how organs and other internal parts react to age and environmental factors. Will these frogs make their way into high school science labs? Click on the frog and read the article for yourself.
