Well, after many years and a few failed attempts, the Town of Esopus Library will be starting construction of a new building. The long process should start next month and hopefully wrap up before we ring in 2007. The new location will be more than 3 times the size of the current building and include 8 public computers and a teen room. Lots of help will be needed later in the year, so stay posted for opportunities to volunteer.
Pearl Jam will be performing at the Pepsi Arena in Albany on Friday, May 12. Tickets go on sale March 25th at 10am. I don't think Pearl Jam deals with Ticketmaster, so call Pepsi Arena directly to purchase your tickets. For more Pearl Jam info, check out their site at www.pearljam.com .
