Thank you

I would like to thank all of you who have helped us out this year: Ananda, Danielle, Jason, Joe, John, Laura, and Will. Please let me know if I've forgotten anyone. We can always use volunteers, so stop by the desk if you are interested, or leave me a message here.

An Extra Second

2005 will have one extra second added on in order to make up for a slight slowing down of the Earth's rotation. The addition of this "leap second" has not been needed since 1998. So remember, when counting down to 2006...5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1/2, Happy New Year!
